We are a family run foundation rooted in our values of faith, family, and friends. We seek to help those battling cancer, raise money for cancer research, and offer encouragement to those in their own battle, reminding them there is still purpose, still joy, and still life to be lived.
This mission is rooted in Tony’s legacy — to keep fighting, keep hoping, and keep living. To always remember that ‘EVERY DAY IS A GREAT DAY!’
BEHIND OUR NAME
‘Knock On Wood” came from Tony’s early college days, playing football at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Tony was a formidable place kicker and was known to be the most reliable player on the team. After going ‘All American’ a newspaper wrote “Tulane Knocks On Wood’. Remarking on his reliability and resilience in a tight game.
That is exactly the way Tony lived his life and was known to his friends and family. Even in the worst of circumstances, Tony was steadfast, resilient, and reliable. Everyone leaned on him and we still do. He is our guiding light and inspiration behind this organization. Tony felt that no one should have to suffer like he did and no one should have to fight alone.

ANNUAL EVENT
The Tony Wood Memorial Golf Tournament is our annual event that also includes an auction.
In its inaugural year, the tournament took place at Sea Island Golf Course in Georgia. In just two days the foundation raise over $130,000!
